Atlanta, Ga. Alumni Chapter Scholarship
- This Scholarship awarded to an incoming freshman for a one-time/one year disbursal - OR - eight (8) consecutive payments during Fall and Spring semesters.

Beaufort Alumni Chapter Scholarship
- is $500 awarded to the sophomore with the highest academic average from Beaufort County
Central Florida Alumni Chapter Scholarship
- is $500 administered by the Chapter according to guidelines of the Chapter.
Florida Gulf Coast Alumni Chapter Scholarship
- is $500 administered by the Chapter according to guidelines of the Chapter.
Greater Columbia Alumni Chapter
awards two academic scholarships in the amounts of $1000 each for incoming SCSU freshmen. Students should go to the Chapter website at
www.capitalcitybulldogs.com and download the scholarship application. All applications must be postmarked no later than May 18th to be considered for the upcoming Fall semester. The Chapter also offers $1000 for need-based scholarships for textbooks and other resources. Because alumni and supporters can contribute funds year round for scholarships, students are encouraged to apply for need-based scholarships year round. For need-based scholarships students should go to the SCSU Office of Alumni Affairs and request these funds directly or email the Greater Columbia Chapter at
scholarship@capitalcitybulldogs.com.
Greenville Alumni Chapter Scholarship
- is $500 administered by the Chapter according to guidelines of the Chapter.
Greenwood Alumni Chapter Scholarship
- is $500 administered by the Chapter according to guidelines of the Chapter.
New York Alumni Chapter Scholarship
- is $500 administered by the Chapter according to guidelines of the Chapter.
Orangeburg Alumni Chapter Scholarship
- is $500 administered by the Chapter according to guidelines of the Chapter.
South Carolina State Alumni Scholarship Fund (Nursing Students Only)
- The South Carolina State Alumni Scholarship Fund was created from South Carolina Alumni donations earmarked for nursing students only. It is used as a Nursing Student Emergency Fund. Priority consideration is give to nursing students enrolled in clinical nursing courses or accepted for progression into the upper division of the curriculum. The amount awarded is dependent upon the availability of funds. Students must complete an application and submit it to the Department of Nursing.
Spartanburg Alumni Chapter Scholarship
- is $500 awarded or administered by the Chapter according to guidelines of the Chapter.
The National Alumni Association Scholarship Award
- The South Carolina State University Alumni Association awards one scholarship of $1,000 annually to a talented student who will be entering in the fall as a freshman. The award may be renewed annually for a total of $4,000 if the student makes acceptable progress and is in good standing with the University.
The Washington, D.C., Alumni Chapter Memorial Scholarship
- is a $500 scholarship awarded annually over a four-year period to a student who maintains high academic standing and continues to demonstrate outstanding potential.
